The advantage of this licensing contract for the Licensor (trademark owner) is that it offers the opportunity of entering a given market rapidly, and at the same time avoiding the risks associated with the heavy investments required by direct, commercial and/or industrial intervention.

For the Licensee (the company licensed to produce), it offers the opportunity not only to rapidly go through the product design and production phase with a minimal financial contribution, but also to enter markets where the trademark is already well known.
